His first lodgings were in Grenville Street, behind Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). It was this house that became the inspiration for the Darlings' family home. JM Barrie left the royalties to his Peter Pan stories solely to the hospital itself, meaning wheneve the story is adapted royalties are paid straight to the Great Ormond Street Hospital. We are thankful to help such a great cause, so whenever you see a production of Peter Pan know that you are supporting the hospital at the same time as supporting the production itself.
