A Truly Magical Pantomime
Cinderella lived at Hardup Hall with her Dad, the Baron, who she loved very much. The Baron had remarried and his new wife the Baroness had two daughters who had very silly names, Mellifluous & Susperia. They treated Cinderella like a servant and made her do all the cooking and cleaning and mending and everything. But Cinderella had two very special friends who would help her. The first was Buttons, who was secretly in love with Cinderella and the second was Mozzerella, who was a tiny mouse that had now grown up into a rather large teenager!
Prince Charming was looking for a wife and planned to hold a very big party. He had his servant Dandini send invitations to all the ladies in the town, including Cinderella. But the Baroness wouldn’t let Cinderella go and gave her a big list of jobs to do.
Now there was one other very special person in our story and everyone called her FG. She was Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother and she was very magical…

Characters
Fairy Godmother - A comical, mother-like character who wants the best for Cinderella. She is all magical although somewhat rusty and will see that everyone gets the ending they deserve.
Cinderella - Kind hearted, lovable & gutsy principal girl. Daughter of Baron Hardup. She is much put upon by the Ugly Sisters and treated like a servant in her own home.
Prince Charming - Heir to the throne who would like to marry someone who loves him for who he is. Easy going and not bothered by status. Principal boy.
Dandini - Aide and confident to the Prince. A bit of a snob and somewhat jealous of the Prince. 2nd principal boy.
Buttons - Fun loving and lazy. Builds rapport with the audience. In love with Cinderella from afar.
Mellifluous - Ugly sister. Over the top comic dame character.
Suspiria - Ugly sister. Over the top comic dame character.
Baron Hardup - A kind, muddled and gentle man who loves his daughter, Cinderella but is bullied by is new wife, the Baroness.
Baroness Hardup - Bossy wife to the Baron. Pushes her daughters forward at every opportunity & dismisses Cinderella. Tries to control everything.
Mozzerella - Friend & companion to Cinderella.
Major Domo - Palace Official. Pompous, fussy old man.
A medium sized cast with 11 principals, along with an optional adult company consisting of 6 to 12 as well as a children’s company consisting of 6 to 12.
